Meet the Woman Behind it all: Victoria T. Aguilar, Esq., SPHR
I founded The AR Group because I believed organizations deserved better: more experienced, more independent, and more rigorous counsel on their most sensitive workplace matters. Eighteen years later, that belief drives everything we do.
I have experience in both employment law and human resources, a combination that gives clients something most providers can’t offer: legal rigor and HR fluency to handle complex workplace situations from complaint through resolution.
I am an AV-Preeminent rated attorney (the highest peer-recognition rating available from Martindale-Hubbell) and a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR). I am certified by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as an EEO Investigator and Counselor, and I hold certifications as a Civil Rights Investigator and Independent EEO Investigator. I am also a certified mediator, licensed to practice law in Colorado, Minnesota, and New Mexico.
Over the course of my career, I have conducted thousands of workplace investigations, including harassment inquiries, EEO investigations, misconduct fact-findings, cultural assessments, and organizational reviews for federal agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and private employers across industries. I have also served as an expert witness in state and federal court proceedings, providing testimony on HR policy, EEO compliance, and employment practice standards.
I hold a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (Go Blue!) and a B.A. in Psychology from Boston College, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was recognized as a Scholar of the College.
